Le château de Laborde

This sumptuous bourgeois residence was built at the end of the 19th century by the Berry family, an old Cordes lineage and naval officers. With no male heir, ownership of the château passed to the Barons of Leuglay, who succeeded the Berrys.
Subsequently, an alliance with the Tapié de Céleyran family—the maternal family and first cousins of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec—established a family connection between the De Leuglays and the famous painter.
Today, the estate retains the charm and tranquility once enjoyed by the counts and barons, in the shade of majestic cedar trees.
